i didn’t make an April goals post on the first of the month. its not that i don’t have a goal this month, its just that i’ve come to the realization that lately, my goals have been fluid and change with every small lesson i learn. trying to log the changes becomes confusing and even conflicting as i feel my way through the roller coaster ride.
as a general rule, i keep work out of this venue (exceptions: funny or moving stories, whitewashed for the confidentiality of others). but there’s a lot going on at work right now. some stressful, some positive, and all opportunities for growth. i feel creative lately and i’m trying to tap into that and work with it.
i’ve also finally attempted to step into the professional world in terms of attire. i’ve lost enough weight that i can finally find some clothes that give me the appearance of being someone who knows what they’re talking about AND are comfortable to actually wear. so i’ve retired the baggy cargos from Target & taken on the Worthingtons from JCP. the boy polos from Walmart have been replaced with actual tops (though, i did snag a couple of men’s atheletic fit button downs that were flattering – purple w/white stripes & pink w/cream & blue stripes). my hair’s getting long and my friends are joking with me that i’m a girl again. for the record, i am still not putting a dress on – so don’t make any bets on that one.
