a decade of food…
foods i refused to eat 10 years ago, that i will eat, and even LIKE now:
- green vegetables (asparagus, broccoli, kale, pretty much anything leafy & green)
- onions
- cabbage
- bell peppers (I still don’t care for the green ones)
- fish (i’ll even eat sardines now! and i LOVE sushi)
- cooked fruit
- tofu
- sauerkraut
- brie & other stinky cow-milk cheeses
- several autum/winter veggies (sweet potatoes, squash, pumpkin, parsnips)
- mushrooms (I only liked baby portobellas initially)
- dark chocolate
- wine (I’m partial to whites over reds)
- sprouts
- clams, oysters, & mussels
- oatmeal
foods i ate 10 years ago, but pretty much refuse to eat now:
- hamburger helper
- hot pockets
- pop tarts
- TV dinners
- cheese whiz
- canned vegetables
- white bread
foods i’m still figuring out or still don’t care for:
- coffee
- olives
- non-cow milk cheeses (goat & sheep)
- turnips
- rye bread
- lamb
- cilantro
