no. i’m ‘out there’ enough as it is. i have no interest in even experimenting with something that messed up. there are other drugs that sound far more interesting.

[03] Abortion: for or against it?
i’m not pregnant & therefore not qualified to be “for” or “against” something that, by definition, only applies to pregnant women.

[04] Do you think the world would fail with a female president?
other countries have female leadership – something tells me no. (seriously, this is a question?)

[05] Do you believe in the death penalty?
no. i don’t have the right to take away someone else’s life.

[06] Do you wish marijuana would be legalized already?
considering we have other legal drugs that are far more dangerous already, it seems kind of silly to me that something with actual medical and therapeutic properties is illegal.

[07] Are you for or against premarital sex?
i’m not allowed to get married, so i’d have to say i’m for it.

[08] Do you believe in God?
i believe that there’s something bigger out there – whether it is God or Universal Soul or something else, i’m not sure. if you want to call it God, i can grasp what you mean.

[09] Do you think same sex marriage should be legalized?
it is – in california. now ask me if i think it should be legalized everywhere? yes. and for the record, so should adoption by gay people.

[10] Do you think it’s wrong that so many Hispanics are illegally moving to the USA?
i think we need to redo our immigration policies. people come here because they want a better life. but when they come here illegally, they can drain our already under-budgeted social services. i don’t have the right answer but i expect there is one out there.

[11] A twelve year old girl has a baby, should she keep it?
if she had enough support (both financial and emotional) and is mature enough to deal with being a teen parent – yes. if not, then a relative should assume responsibility, or the child should be placed for adoption. however, i think there’s a bigger problem – the fact that a 12 year old got pregnant in the first place. teach sex education, provide preventative measures (condoms, birth control, etc), and TALK TO YOUR CHILDREN!

[12] Should the alcohol age be lowered to eighteen?
see, that’s the ‘legal’ drug i was talking about before. i think if you can vote for your leadership, die for your country, and drive a car – you should be able to drink. if you’re an adult at age 18, then you’re an adult. period. with all rights and responsibilities. however, i think 18 year olds are frequently too immature to handle those responsibilities. maybe everything should be bumped up to 19.

[13] Should the war in Iraq be called off?
we should let Iraq govern itself without bailing out on disenfranchised minority groups that might ultimately be hunted down and killed (it happened in Korea).

[14] Assisted suicide is illegal: do you agree?
i think people have rights over their life. if they are deemed competent and rational and not a candidate for psychiatric hospitalization, then i believe they should make their own choice.

[15] Do you believe in spanking your children?
i believe in educating parents in positive parenting techniques. spanking is not against the law. abusing your children is. having said that, spanking is rarely as effective as people believe. fear based discipline is not as effective as respect based discipline.

[16] Would you burn an American flag for a million dollars?
as a political statement or demonstration of dissatisfaction with government? no.
as a piece of fabric that would earn me financial security? hell yeah.

[17] Who do you think would make a better president? McCain or Obama?
i’m sure as hell not voting for McCain…

[18] Are you afraid others will judge you from reading some of your answers?
not particularly. i’m sure they have their own opinions & rationalizations.
